The warehouse-like Kyoto Station Nanajo Shop faces the Takase River

From Kyoto Station, head east and walk along Shiokoji-dori to Takakura-dori. There are two famous ramen shops on your right, so turn left (north) and walk along Shichijo-dori towards the Kamo River. After crossing Kawaramachi Shichijo intersection, it’s about 2 minutes to get here. Without crossing the small bridge over the Takase River, head north and you’ll find the Kyoto Station Nanajo shop, which looks like a warehouse and is hard to find, so much so that you’ll wonder if it’s the right place. However, when you visit, time flows slowly like the Takase River, and you’ll feel at ease.
